» Background - The Raffaello
Hotel in Rome is a really charming 3 star hotel which is situated
just around the corner from the church of Santa Maria Maggiore and only
a ten minute walk from Termini railway station. The Raffaello asked
Fisheyes to provide them with a package that would give them an attractive
web sites, secure online reservations and more prominent visibility....
» Project Goals - complete restyling of existing web
site using a colour scheme which reflected the prominent traditional
wooden furnishings which are used throughout the hotel. The booking
system was integrated into the web page and a global positioning interactive
satelite map was incorporated into the location page.
» Fisheyes and Hotel Raffaello - this is the start of
a long and fruitful business relationship... Fisheyes hope to adapt
and improve the web site and booking system in order to explore new
market opportunitie,s via the internet, which will undoubtely arise
over the next few years...
» Results - As this site only went live at the beginning
of June we are as yet to see the results... we remain quietly optimistic!
» Summary - The combination of the Hotel Raffaello's
young and innovative managerial style combined with the techy hands
on approach adopted by Fisheyes Ltd meant that this project was initiated
and completed in less than 3 weeks!
